Plant pictured: Common Milkweed (Asclepias syriaca) with monarch caterpillars (Danaus plexippus)) from earlier this week. These cats were relocated to established swamp milkweed plants that we have in a garden area. We have limited numbers of purple milkweed (Asclepias purparescens), butterfly milkweed (A. tuberosa), and common milkweed (A. syriaca) available for purchase. Plant milkweed this fall so you have some for next year’s monarchs!
